Biography
Chef Jae is a passionate and adventurous culinary professional who thrives on challenges and continuous learning.
He built his foundation at Le Cordon Bleu in Sydney, Australia, gaining hands-on experience across hotels, restaurants, and brunch cafes, where he developed both culinary skills and leadership mindset.
His curiosity eventually expanded beyond the kitchen, leading him to explore digital platforms during the pandemic. He launched a YouTube channel, sharing French, Brunch and Korean recipes. The channel grew to over 9,000 subscribers in six months and led to partnerships with Korea’s largest online learning platform (CLASS101) and a major tech company (NHN) for cooking content and classes.
At Welbilt, Chef Jae now serves as Sales Manager for North Asia, leading commercial strategy, culinary collaborations, and customer training initiatives across the region.
Chef Jae believes that curiosity is the best spice in the kitchen. He once spent an entire weekend reverse engineering a sauce he tasted at a random street stall, just to recreate it at home.
