2025 Chinese Cuisine New Globalization Conference

On September 9, 2025, Xiaomai Group successfully hosted the 2025 New Globalization of Chinese Cuisine Conference at the Marina Bay Sands in Singapore.

Convotherm, alongside Welbilt China, Welbilt Asia Pacific, and Fabristeel, was honored to participate in this landmark occasion, which celebrated Xiaomai’s vision of bringing Chinese cuisine to the global stage.

The conference featured the signing of a strategic partnership with DaDong Group, uniting its rich culinary heritage with Convotherm’s intelligent technology. 

Arndt Manter, Director of Product Management at Convotherm, delivered a keynote address highlighting how innovation and connected equipment can safeguard culinary traditions while enabling worldwide growth. The event also showcased customized Convotherm maxx combi ovens, designed exclusively for DaDong’s renowned Beijing Roast Duck, and provided an invaluable platform for dialogue with chefs, industry leaders, and partners dedicated to expanding the reach of Chinese cuisine.










A strategic collaboration between Convotherm and DaDong Roast Duck

Convotherm and DaDong Group have signed a strategic partnership that brings together culinary heritage and intelligent kitchen technology.

Through this collaboration, customized Convotherm maxx combi ovens will be introduced to support DaDong’s world-renowned Beijing Roast Duck, ensuring consistency, precision, and excellence across all of the group’s restaurants worldwide.

The partnership sets a new standard by preserving tradition through innovation, guaranteeing quality across continents, and enabling global expansion with confidence. It represents a significant milestone in advancing the reach and influence of Chinese cuisine on the world stage.





A night of networking, communicating, and fine foods

Throughout the event, attendees were given the opportunity to try the Super Lean (酥不腻) Roast Duck patented and created by DaDong Roast Duck. The key feature of this Super Lean Roast Duck perfected by Master Dong was that it's prepared using our very own Convotherm maxx Combi Oven!

By utilizing the oven's full range of features, including the Crisp & Tasty feature which allows the duck's skin to attain its signature crisp, Master Dong was able to create the perfect Roast Duck which all 220 attendees were able to taste for themselves!
