Welbilt Delivers a Dynamic Showcase of Global Hospitality Trends and Culinary Innovation at HOTELEX Shanghai 2025

Welbilt's presence at HOTELEX Shanghai 2025 brought the global hospitality and foodservice industry together for an electrifying four-day showcase of innovation, craftsmanship, and trendsetting experiences. As a leader in commercial kitchen solutions, Welbilt highlighted its latest advancements in cutting-edge kitchen technology, energy efficiency, and smart equipment integration. From specialty coffee systems to sustainable cooking solutions, Welbilt's presence underscored its commitment to shaping the future of hospitality. Industry leaders, top chefs, and international brands converged to explore new products, share insights, and witness specially curated culinary concepts. 







Over 420,000 Visitors Attended HOTELEX

With many visitors, both local and international, attending HOTELEX Shanghai 2025, it was no surprise that the crowd was bustling at the Welbilt Booth.

We were especially pleased to see such a large number of attendees stopping by our booths throughout the event. It was a fantastic opportunity for us to connect with new customers, engage with long-time partners, and proudly showcase our diverse portfolio of industry-leading brands. The enthusiastic response we received reaffirmed our commitment to delivering innovative, high-performance kitchen equipment and solutions to meet the evolving needs of the foodservice industry.

Throughout the event, our team had meaningful conversations with chefs, operators, distributors, and decision-makers, gaining valuable insights while also sharing the latest advancements from Welbilt's family of brands. From live demonstrations to hands-on product interactions, visitors were able to experience firsthand the quality, reliability, and technological innovation that define our offerings.

Located at the heart of the National Exhibition and Convention Center (NECC) in Shanghai—and true to the four-leaf clover shape of the convention center—our location allowed for many guests to seamlessly transit between the halls and floors. This prime placement contributed to high foot traffic and allowed us to engage with a diverse and dynamic audience from across the region and beyond.





9 World Class Brands on Show at the Welbilt Booth

In addition to showcasing our locally distributed world-class brands—Convotherm, Merrychef, Frymaster, Merco, Lincoln, Garland, and Koldtech—we were proud to feature a selection of cutting-edge equipment from Ali Group’s globally renowned brands. Taking center stage was the brand-new Lincoln Aperion Conveyor Oven, making its debut appearance in Asia!

The Welbilt booth also highlighted the impressive Tecnomac range of blast chillers and freezers, alongside the sleek, distinctive design of Silko’s fryers and monoblocs—all on full display for attendees to experience firsthand.

Live Demonstrations by the China Culinary Team

To fully showcase the versatility, efficiency, and collaborative strength of our world class brand equipment, our culinary team based in China did live demonstrations using the Convotherm combi ovens, Merrychef High Speed Ovens, and Tecnomac Blast Chillers! 

From Grab and Go pastries such as croissants prepared in under 1 minute using the Merrychef High Speed Ovens, to large volumes of chicken, beef and fish cooked at the same time in the Convotherm Combi Ovens, the menu was vast and wide to accommodate the requirements of different users.

In addition, Chef Angelo Bosco from Tecnomac showcased his culinary skills while showcasing the strengths of the Tecnomac Blast Chillers in his specially curated live demonstrations, showcasing a range of items from blast chilling delicate steamed vegetables to extend their shelf life, to creating velvety smooth Pana Cotta puddings, all in the same machine!









Crafted for Taste, Driven by Innovation – Ali Group Coffee Division Delivers the Perfect Brew

A conglomeration of the finest coffee brands under one banner - the Ali Group Coffee Division, also showcased their top of the line coffee machines, grinders and other accessories. Ranging from the highly customizable CREM, the robust Egro, the versatility of Rancilio, and the finesse of Rancilio Speciality, any coffee lover would have been satisfied at their booth in HOTELEX Shanghai 2025!
